My husband was looking for a new bedside light that was less stark and took up less space than his old fashioned one. This desk lamp is just the job. It has a smaller footprint than the old lamp it has replaced. This new lamp has a selection of modes and a variety of brightness settings. They are adjusted up and down by simple touch buttons, which makes it easy to switch on in the dark. It is ideal for my husband reading and on the lower setting doesn’t disturb me going to sleep beside him. The lamp is good value and looks a lot more expensive than it is, being stylish, with a textured finish. It plugs into a USB socket and itself has a USB port that could be used to charge a phone, or headphones. It arrived promptly and was well packaged. It could easily be given as a gift.
