Had to adjust review, as it was great , at first, but then it decided not to turn off (and you cant tell its off apart from touching) with both temperature and timer displays off, it keeps heating! very DANGEROUS, glad I found out before leaving it. I tried unplugging, reusing, but when you turn it off it keeps it on (tried 3 hours later, still very hot!) BEWARE

I have ADHD and constantly forget my tea so this gives me one specific place to put it down and keeps it warm until I remember to drink it. I usually just use the 55 degree setting to keep my tea warm but if it has already cooled, the 70 degree setting heats it back up. You can also set a timer which is great if you think you’ll forget to turn it off. It’s also a cute square design so it sits nicely on the corner of my desk. I got another for a friend as we both work from home and she loves it too :)

I use this for extended study sessions when I know that I am going to be sipping coffee for many hours. I prefer using the mug warmer as it tastes better then drinking out of a stale coffee mug. This works excellently for keeping the coffee warm. As you drink more coffee, you can bump the temperature down so it doesn't get too hot, which is an excellent feature. It is also a sleek design and doesn't take up too much space on your desk

Despite my reservations about this latest gadget, being faced with stone cold tea every day for most of my life had run it's course. I hate scalding tea and then not being able to taste anything for a couple of days because my taste buds had been seared off... And then forgetting to drink it while waiting for it to cool... NO thank you! I saw this teacup warmer in the sales and thought I'd try it. This one plugs into a socket (and came with a 3-pin plug). It's light with a small footprint and does the job better than expected! The wire could be longer so that's disappointing - but nothing an extension lead doesn't sort out! The only annoying thing is having to scroll through the heat and timer settings which start at 10 hours....! This has been an absolute JOY as now I have hot tea ready to enjoy in-between meetings and of course when I remember I made a cup! 😁😂 I bought the first one for my office but had to plug it in to test when it arrived and it worked so well it has stayed in the living room. So I ordered another one for the office! Absolutely delighted and I hope it lasts for a long time. The heating area has a silicone cover REMEMBER TO REMOVE IT BEFORE USE!

Both of us in the household read a lot and this can lead to us drinking a goodly amount of tea through the day. These warmers have eliminated the need to go nuke the teas occasionally to keep them warm, but additionally keep the tea tasting good (unlike what can happen when you microwave) until it is gone. The pressure activated on switch is greatly appreciated. Just don't accidently put your phone or your book on the table in such a way that it activates the switch.
