The media could not be loaded. I bought this one year ago partly for an elderly relative who often has short naps during the day, meaning their coffee goes cold before they finish it, and also for my own use. When it arrived I was pleased by its solid, well-built and simple design. The device has two buttons on the front edge: One ⏻ simply clicks on/off Another which ←toggles→ between automatic and manual modes. In manual mode, it remains on until you switch it off, or the timer runs out, while automatic mode activates when a cup is placed on top, then turns off when it’s lifted. If the cup isn’t replaced within 10 minutes it shuts off completely. The sensitive spring button underneath activates this, and it worked with all the various cups and mugs I tested, all heavy enough to click it easily, so it works a treat. The four touch-sensitive buttons on top select the temperature range based on the selected material: glass, ceramic, or metal, with ceramic having the lowest possible temperature at 55°. The other two +/- buttons vary the timer from 1 to 9 hours. There is no permanently ON option. In between these buttons is a helpful display showing all of these settings. In use, it heats up quickly and keeps drinks warm effectively. At 55° for ceramic, it maintains the coffee at the perfect temperature (for me) without further heating or cooling. All good so far. One consideration is the mains cable length, measuring about 1.5m/5ft long. Since this product isn’t cordless or rechargeable, it can only be placed within this distance from the nearest power socket, which may be worth bearing in mind. —Pros: • Well-made • Performs its job well • Easy to clean • Stable on flat surfaces • Fairly low power consumption (36 Watts) • Heats up quickly • Clear display —Cons: • Length of mains lead • Not particularly cheap Overall, this is a good quality product. If it had a longer mains lead it would be pretty much perfect. As it stands, it’s still going strong after one year of daily use, and I would recommend it to anyone, so it’s a full five stars from me. Thanks for reading, I hope you found this review helpful x

Love this. Previously ended up drinking Luke warm coffee, now it's nice and hot for the duration of the drink. And works out much cheaper than endlessly reheating in the microwave, which is what I used to do. Haven't tried out the 9 hour timer yet, but sure it will be fine. And it remembers the cup type and temperature

This is my first experience of a small heated warmer and I am very happy with its performance. Several choices of temperature, different materials ie ceramic, glass etc., automatic timing although 1 hour is the minimum which I find is too long. The warmer is a bit flimsy but as it is not expensive I suppose you get what you pay for. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I work from home online and use this every day all day. This really does keep your drinks hot. I use a glass Pyrex mug most of the time but works just as well with ceramic's. I really like the ability to switch seamlessly from one to another . Buying this means I no longer throw out cold tea or coffee frequently. Another great feature is the gravity switch which means it turns its self off after 10 minutes when you remove a cup or mug. And finally you can set a temperature you like. What was an impulse buy has turned into an essential for my working day.

This cup warmer works well on my desk and keeps my tea hot, there are different temperatures settings available dependent on the material of the cup or mug you use. The manual is clear enough and I found I got into the routine of using it fairly quickly. This is definitely worth for you if you spend a lot of time at desk, or a similar place, I enjoy when playing video games for example, as I don't have to rush before my tea goes cold. The reason I'm not giving this five stars is because the device is too light considering the stiffness of the button on the front of the device. It's hard to switch it on or off without a mug on it and/or holding the device in place with your other hand. Making the warmer heavier would have fixed this problem, and having it thicker wouldn't have hurt the product in my mind. I imagine this could be a issue for those with limited dexterity. Also, consider the safety implications of having a hotplate around if you have children or people with mental difficulties in your home. But hopefully you thought of that. That being said, it's a good warmer. Overall I recommend this product.

This mug warmer does exactly what it says on the tin. For security reasons I wanted something that pluged into the mains and not my USB port, and this warmer is better than I expected. It keeps my drink really hot and does not heat up the desk as I was worried it might. The various settings for glass, cereamic and metal are good as is the gravity sensor and timeout function. All in all, a great little purchase.

Now this is well worth the money, I like the fact that it's mains powered so you don't have to worry about batteries running out. And you can set it to automatically switch off when you take your cup off and switch on again when you put your cup back on. It really does keep your drink hot, I've often put my coffee down and forgotten about it, put it down on this and within around 10 - 15 minutes it's gone from cold to hot again. I like mine so much that I bought another one for a Christmas present for a family member.

The heater works beautifully for a small teapot, which is what I hoped for. Prior to this purchase, the tea in my teapot was always too cold by the time I was halfway through it. Now it stays at a perfect temperature until I am done. While the unit can handle a 13cm diameter, the heating only takes place in the inner circle. This is not a criticism or a problem, just something that someone else might be interested in.
