Out of the box, it looks just like the product images show. The first difference I noticed was that this is a plastic casing rather than the metal one I expected. Not really an issue, but it does feel a bit light and flimsy. To get started, you need to remove the USB adapter from the bottom of the unit, plug it in and turn on the power. I used the USB C to plug into my MacBook and it connected straight away. You only really have 5 buttons to use with the computer - left and right, a general select button, and volume up and down. Of course, these are fairly obvious, but you can also get more functionality by double pressing, or pressing and holding each button. There are guidelines in the short instruction manual included, but really you need to test this out for yourself to understand what each button can do for each program you are using. The laser pointer is a nice added bonus, easily used by pressing and holding the only other button I’ve not mentioned. This is a great remote for presenting and covers the basic controls of what you need. I would recommend that you take a practice run with it before deciding to present in front of people, but otherwise a good value product.

Delivering presentations became a bit more fluid with this. It feels solid in the hand, not flimsy or cheap. The buttons have a definite, tactile click to them, which means I'm not left wondering if I've actually advanced the slide. I just plugged the small receiver into my laptop and it connected immediately, no software installations or tedious pairing procedures needed. I've used it from the back of a fairly large conference room and the signal remained perfectly stable. The red pointer dot is bright and clear, making it easy to highlight specific points on the screen for the audience. A huge plus for me is the internal battery; being able to charge it with the same cable I use for my phone means I’m not hunting for AAA batteries minutes before a big meeting. It simplifies the whole process and lets me focus on the content, not the technology.

I have a long history of dabbling with IT equipment and which has meant, time and time again, that trawling of the Internet has been required to identify which version of "their" software is required. The last presentation device I purchased was sometime ago as delivering talks, displays, etc fell out of my work tasks. Then they came back, and lots of them. This is truly plug 'n' play and required literally seconds to be acknowledged, installed and be ready to work. Admittedly, previously there were more functions built into the presenter but this suffices and is a clear demonstration of "keep it simple. Less to go wrong/fail"

I have used this on both a mac and a PC and in both instances, it was exactly as it says, plug and play. The dongle does both USB-A and USB-C which is perfect for someone like me who works across mac and PC regularly. The unit also has a laser pointer integrated which is really helpful. For under £20 you cannot go wrong here. It comes with a USB charging cable as well.

This little remote has made my work presentations much smoother. It feels comfortable and lightweight in my hand, and the buttons are placed intuitively, so I can change slides without having to look down at it. Der Presenter macht insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck. Er wirkt auf den ersten Blick wie aus Metall gefertigt, besteht jedoch aus Kunststoff – optisch aber durchaus wertig und stylisch. Ich habe den Presenter inzwischen bei einer Präsentation genutzt und bin wirklich zufrieden. Besonders praktisch finde ich die große Reichweite. Selbst wo ich aus dem Raum gelaufen bin - zum Test - reagierte er sofort. Das rote Licht ist deutlich sichtbar, was gerade bei größeren Leinwänden ein echter Vorteil ist. Auf meinem Mac läuft alles problemlos, kein Einrichten oder langes Herumprobieren nötig. Was ich auch gut finde, dass der Empfänger sowohl einen USB-A, als auch einen USB-C Stecker hat - damit benötige ich nicht den lästigen Adapter. Positiv für mich ist, dass man den Presenter über einen USB-C Anschluss wieder aufladen kann. Auch die Bedienung gefällt mir: Ein- und Umschalten klappt ohne Gefummel, die Tasten sind gut angeordnet. Er liegt angenehm in der Hand, sodass auch längere Präsentationen sicherlich kein Problem darstellen. Angesichts des Preises ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus meiner Sicht hier sehr gut. Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, dass noch eine kleine Hülle zum Schutz mit dazu geliefert wird.

Ich nutze den Presenter nun regelmäßig für Meetings und Präsentationen und bin sehr zufrieden. Besonders praktisch finde ich die lange Reichweite, ich kann mich frei im Raum bewegen und trotzdem die Folien zuverlässig steuern. Das rote Laserlicht ist hell und klar erkennbar, sodass man auch in größeren Räumen problemlos wichtige Inhalte hervorheben kann. Die Einrichtung ist wirklich unkompliziert: Einfach den USB- oder USB-C-Empfänger einstecken und loslegen, ohne Installation oder zusätzliche Software. Das Gerät reagiert sofort und die Navigation durch die Folien läuft flüssig und ohne Verzögerung. Auch die Zusatzfunktionen wie Fenster wechseln, Bildschirm abdunkeln oder Lautstärkeregelung funktionieren einwandfrei. Sehr angenehm finde ich auch den integrierten Akku. Nach kurzer Ladezeit ist der Presenter viele Stunden einsatzbereit, was für längere Seminare oder Konferenztage optimal ist. Der integrierte Stauraum für den Empfänger ist ein durchdachtes Detail, sodass man nichts verliert. Das ergonomische Design liegt gut in der Hand und die Tasten sind logisch angeordnet. Auch ohne hinzusehen findet man sofort die richtige Taste, was beim Präsentieren enorm hilft. Für mich ein rundum gelungener Präsentationsbegleiter, den ich jedem empfehlen kann, der Wert auf Zuverlässigkeit, gute Haptik und nützliche Zusatzfunktionen legt.
